I'm looking for versions of the OS/2 Redbookks I can use on my Linux

Searches seem to lead to an endless loop of links to email that points
to a dead page at IBM. I'm hoping someone has something.
Free Pascal uses INF for help and documentation and has the DocView
program (updated from OS/2's NewView), see for example https:// forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=10335.0
By the way, all OS/2 sites seems to be dying out one by one.
"The lamps are going out all over Europe. We shall not see them lit
again in our lifetime."
Some of them are hosted on Netlabs where a hard drive recently died. New
ones are supposed to arrive Monday and then the array will need rebuilding. Dave
Dave, thank you. This sounds just perfect. However, This is getting into
the tall grass, I don't pretend to understand any of it)
I have gotten all the mime types, icons, etc, and the .INF files now
show the appropriate icon. However, when I double-click I get "There is
no application installed for Compiled INF Help File files." I don't see
the docview binary anywhere, and I obviously didn't install it.
