How long have you been into the scene of BBSing? Certainly didn't have difficulty connecting to this network.
I ran a WildCat DOS bbs from 1990-1993 in Miami Beach, FL. then I was running a Renegade bbs and WildCat WinServer till around 1996 when I
moved up here to NY. I got back into it about a year ago and was
running Mystic for a little bit but went back to my 1st love of WildCat since I still had all the licensing. I am running TW2002 now
unfortunately very underutilized but hope to change that soon.
I don't know. Wildcat! never seemed to interest me. Why pay so much for
a product when you can get the same thing with a lot more for free? I've
seen a few Wildcat! BBSes; they've seemed nice... I did however, enjoy Renegade software back in the day. I remember as a kid, requesting a
photo I.D. for adult access and I got at least 20-30 I.D.'s in the mail.
lol... seriously... I guess once professional, always professional. I
was before my time back then. Now with everything coming on so fast,
there is so much to explore. I enjoy Mystic a lot also. There are so
many mods you can add to it; just like SBBS. I remember the first time
I installed Mystic for Linux. It installed like a breeze. I enjoyed it.
It might have been because I had some experience; which was probably the
case. I'll have to check out your TW2002. I enjoy that door game so
much. I enjoy it even more when players aren't using third-party programs
to get ahead in the game. I feel that these programs make the game a
bit boring as it becomes too easy to win. I've always like the challenge
of doing things.
