    To parents out there, do you think re-opening schools possibly this fall will be safe and effective?     Hopefully things will start getting a lot better before fall is here and that parents won't have

    My son isn't going back to school, he's going to remote learning. I hope the other 660 kids in his school do the same. If they can all maintain responsible social distancing and have no reports of the virus in their families for at least a month, then maybe he can go back after the first 9 weeks. The school year in Texas is split into 4 terms of 9 weeks so that should be a good gauge. --- SBBSecho 3.11-Linux

    Remoting/social distancing schooling is the best method for right now. Like you said, if it work for 9 weeks and theirs a relief of the virus and people start doing what they're supposed to do to keep exposure of the illness than maybe things will start getting better. People going to pool parties and
    those that think it's just a fear thing don't want to admit the pandemic.
    But, as far as schooling goes, my hope is the virus diminishes and things can start going back to normal.

    I've heard schools in my area actually will be doing online learning rather than re-opening the schools. It seems they're trying to be safe rather than sorry here.
