Or if you don't want any newsgroups at all remove the eternal september
server from the Thunderbird software completely. Obviously these are not E-Mails, they are posts to a world wide group which is free for anyone to
read and write in. Removing the sever, will remove all the groups, but may leave the old messages, but these can be deleted if it does.
