    Following the attack on the TV tower, I was wondering what the situation
    is regarding terrestrial TV and radio transmissions in Ukraine.

    AIUI it's gone because the EU stopped its uplink from Brussels. Ofcom
    were investigating it. But HMG weren't keen to deploy the Ministry of
    Truth:

    "The reality is that if we ban RT in the United Kingdom, that is likely
    to lead to channels like the BBC being banned in Russia. What we want is
    the Russian population to hear the truth about what Vladimir Putin is
    doing, so there’s a very careful judgment to be made."

    Yes. I'm sure Ofcom were dragging their feet deliberately, waiting for
    this to happen, so it's completely let them off the hook.

    They're an utterly useless and spineless regulator
