As a bald headline, it doesn't surprise me. But there's commuting and
there's commuting.
Driving three miles to work into a company car-park in suburban Texas is
one thing.
Having to ride a train from Westchester to Manhattan Grand Central (or
Southend to London's Liverpool Street Station) five days a week (and
that after driving to a railway station car-park and paying through the
nose to park) is *quite another*.
