    There you have it - the reason for talking up cycling despite the fall in
    cycle usage, between 25 and 40%.

    One wonders what Auriol Grey would make of this gem:

    “Active Travel England Commissioner and former world champion Chris
    Boardman, whose mother was killed by a careless driver while riding her
    bike, added: “We should remember that dangerous driving, law breaking, and endangering others is a choice”.

    Quite.

    There seems to be only one sort of lawbreaker as far as cyclists are
    concerned: everyone else but cyclists.

    Boardman should stop talking claptrap.
