    He'd already cut up a fellow cyclist further back in the video. And then proceeds to overtake a left-turning vehicle on the nearside.

    It was a mandatory left turn from that lane, so why was the bicyclist
    surprised when the van driver obeyed the law?

    It seems he was a MGIF type, having cut up one bicyclist, and suffered accordingly when he tried a stupid manoeuvre.

    Two more today- this time observed in person. Narrowish country road, busy,
    two lycra clad cyclists who were clearly totally unfit / inexperienced, wobbling along two abreast at 6 mph causing delays. There was a double
    white line and oncoming traffic so cars couldn’t pass safely.

    We were several cars back and could see the problem.

    Eventually the cars in front were able to pass.

    Just as we reached the front, the wobbly pair decided they were worn out
    and pulled over - no signal- into a field entrance.
