    A driver is dead following a crash with a cyclist in Brampton on Monday afternoon.

    Peel Regional Police were called to The Gore-Fogal Rds. area shortly before 1:30 p.m. for reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a cyclist.

    The cyclist suffered minor injuries, police said.

    The driver of the vehicle was transported to a hospital in life-threatening condition and was later pronounced dead at about 3 p.m.

    Police said it’s believed the driver might have suffered a medical episode at the wheel before the crash.
