I was chatting with my mum the other day about cars they’d owned over the years. Somehow the list grew to 22.
Seems like a lot to me but maybe that is pretty typical for folk born in
the 1920’s?
Think I’m on to my 14th car at age 66.
I presume there is an “average” figure. Are these more/less than average?

I'm 51 now... and I can even remember the reg marks of *every* single
car I have owned & driven.
my first car at 19 was a Fiat Panda 4x4 C571 UNP
followed by a Citroen AX diesel L837 AWD
Then a Peugeot 106 diesel N974 DFY
Then a Peugeot 206 diesel CU51 RJE
Then a Golf Mk4 golf estate diesel AG02 AUR
Then a Golf Mk7 golf estate diesel (reg mark not disclosed as it is my current car)
So thats 6 cars in 32 years so average period of ownership is 5 1/3 years
