  • Future of G4FON (the software, not the man)

    Last year G4FON became SK. Does anybody know what happens/will happen to
    his software?

    Has anybody taken over?

    Will the source code ever be released?

    I don't use G4FON myself. Installing Wine on my Debian is a pain. I use
    QRQ (http://fkurz.net/ham/qrq.html) and lcwo.net, but I'm curious about
    what will happen to the G4FON trainer as it is by far the most used
    program to learn morse.

    Well it will keep running until Microsoft changes something that stops
    it.
    There won't be any updates or bug fixes.
