I hope it wasn't in the CW section. You can do what you want in the

    Can.. you can, but may?

You said "my Licence allows that" as if to say you have a special
licence that allows that. It's obvious you don't have a special licence,
but the same t&c that I have.

There are band plans. They are for gentlemen. You're not a gentlemen.

We all know that, but, in pre-Ofcom, DTI good old days, licences were
indeed regularly revoked for naughty behaviour.

Ofcom can revoke a licence although they've never done it since 2003.

    https://www.ofcom.org.uk/manage-your-licence/radiocommunication-licences/amateur-radio/licence-misuse-licence

Having a G* call sign and being 70+ of age is not the master key to do
whatever you want on air, though I met a few pillocks at various radio
clubs who are genuinely convinced they are "entitled".

Regularly is a bit of a stretch, but yes it certainly happened

If they have anyone to deal with it, they are severely limited on their technical/radio investigation side these days, at least for dealing with
    issues that only affect amateurs.

Of course it isn't, but like everything else the rules are there for
the obedience of fools but for the guidance of wise men. What the eye
doesn't see and the ear doesn't hear can't really lead to any grief per
    se.
