    I'd say it really depends on what you are after. In the USA Flex and
    Elecraft seem to have lots of customers and in the UK there are a lot
    of specialist audio companies that sell highly sought-after products.

    The UK could have done this much better but remember that the finance
    people like profits and manufacturing is less of a guarantee of those so getting investment is much more difficult here.

    flex ....ugly looking piece of shit but then again no consumer jollies
    was incorp into computers....elcraft rubbish same as ten tec and what
    happened to that company under new ownership ....
