While I was away opening up the holiday hacienda, the neighbours have
had their adsl replaced by fibre. Together with my own switch about 2
years ago, the noise on 40m has dropped dramatically and I can now hear
stuff again. Maybe time to resurrect the top-band vertical project ? I might even put up a 40m 1/2 wave end fed.
I'll need my cw speed up from the VHF style of 18wpm ,if I want to play
with that.
