He did have almost two years to practice this one! Joking aside, yes a
very good vocal performance although I'm not keen on the song. The band
had been on what must have been an extended break for almost two years
and back then that did seem a long time. This one was a big hit but they struggled after this.

TV at its best.

I remember Dennis Potter plays being the sort of things my parents
watched but I wasn't allowed to. I did watch that last interview he did
not long before he died.
