What's your view on a web based forum? Usenet is virtually dead now,
although certain sites eg uklm, are still quite popular.
Web forums cost even more to run than Usenet groups, although they
can, to a
certain extent, offset that by carrying advertising. But the web seems to
attract undesiriables far more than usenet does, these days. Moderating a
web forum is a much more intensive task than moderating a Usenet group.
