• Alloy wheel repairs

From Jeff Layman@21:1/5 to All on Mon Jun 16 19:00:30 2025
Following up on my previous thread ("Punctures?"), I had both rear tyres replaced by new tyres. All was well for a few days, but the nearside
rear was flat yesterday! I got it pumped up again, but it looks like it
was the alloy wheels rather than the tyres.

I attempted to contact the Honda dealers who do all my servicing, but
they aren't replying to messages. So I wondered about using a repair
service (maybe a mobile one), something like
<https://www.sweetalloys.co.uk/> or <https://www.snows.co.uk/snows-accident-repair/services/alloywheelrepair/> Anyone got any experience of these or perhaps can recommended another
    one (south Hampshire)?

I took a wheel to the the place for balancing. They said they couldn't.
    Rim dent.

I bought a spare wheel from a breakers with tyre and put that on, and
took the dented one to a place that refinishes alloys.

They did a nice job for £100+odd.
