  • Self resetting 30 ma RCD breakers?.

    As the title suggests anyone know of anyone who makes such a thing?.

    We have some remote equipment's that are protected with 30 ma RCD's in
    case anyone visiting gets a belt, but sometimes the things are tripped
    by surges and sometimes nearby lightning.

    If we could be a unit that reset itself after a matter of some seconds
    that would be fine.


    A bit like the breakers that trip with faults on HV power lines in case
    a branch or similar gets blown thereon they trip then within a short
    while they reset until either the fault clears of they give up when its
    a continuous fault.

    Gewiss are up the road in St Ives Cambs but they just deal with
    wholesalers and Edmundson's are one, awaiting price and note that some
    ebay suppliers do them too!..
