• WL Dunkerton still on Google maps as a farmer

From Andrew@21:1/5 to All on Thu Feb 27 21:00:41 2025
He's been dead for nearly 20 years !.

One of those two useless girls of Martyn's must have done this
    I suspect.

Eye medication now includes Latanoprost, an analogue prostaglandin
which will give my right eye luscious eye-lashes like a Jersey cow
and dark rings under it, and maybe permanently change my eye
    colour. Oh well.

DVLA have just sent me my 73-yo driving licence renewal which I
did on line but now they have sent me another V1 form to fill out
which (if the last time is anything to go by) means another trip
to a Specsavers to prove that I can read a number plate at
metres and have 120 degrees of vision with no 'missing bits'
in the central area. I think I am still ok in this respect.

Apparently Edward Millard down the lane at Gt Brynhill Farm
died about a year ago. Neither he nor his elder brother Chris
(who died about 10 years ago) had kids so Susan and I were
wondering how to obtain the probate details.

All that land and the buildings must have gone to someone.

    Regards

    Andrew

Presumably the above should have been an email to someone rather than a
    Usenet post,but still .

A housing developer a few miles from here has produced a map to show prospective purchasers what a nice place it will be to live almost in
fields * and marked on the map was a sizeable block of green annotated “
Bill Smiths Wood” ** presumably getting the info from google maps.
Anyone moving in and contemplating a walk amongst the trees will be disappointed to find a field with a bungalow in it where Bill the owner
runs a Wood Turning Business , at last they will be able to buy a salad
bowl for their new kitchen .

    * Except the diggers from another developer have already started to grade
them so it will soon be like living in the middle any other instant estate.

** Name changed as he is still there.
