    Hi

This website 'works' properly in Firefox, Chrome and Opera on my iMac

In Safari, there appears to be a problem.

How does it look to you?
    https://afdc.energy.gov/vehicles/how-do-plug-in-hybrid-electric-cars-work

Not important; just something I noticed.

Quick glance it seems similar in Safari and Chrome. What are you seeing? Are you using extensions in either?

Here's what I see on my iMac:-

    https://jmp.sh/6yUVJEvn

You can see that the white writing in the green section is wrongly
    configured.
In addition, the search function doesn’t work!

It looks fine in other browsers - and on my iPad Pro in Safari!

I wonder what I’ve done to upset the apple-cart!!!

    Any ideas?

Thanks for taking a cursory look.

The odd thing is that the page 'works' just as it should in Safari on my >>>> iPad Pro and in Safari on my new iPhone. I appreciate that they have
different operating systems to my iMac.

I wonder what Snit sees. FTR too if he's free to look.

It may have to do with the plugin being used <shrug>.

I don't appear to have any plugin in use. Thanks for the thought.

I'm referring to the use of a jQuery gallery plugin that appears to have
been incorporated via webpack. If you bring up the modal image and look
in the Elements tab of your browser's dev tools, a div with an id of "modal_gallery_enlarge" is being used for it. If you then look in the
right x.js file, you'll see how that's being referenced. Stuff like this
is more difficult to 'pull apart' because of how it's been implemented.
For example, were Snit to use this on a 'client' site, he'd probably
just grab that code and pop it into the head or the body, he wouldn't be using webpack or manually concatenating scripts.

It would be good to hear from someone else using a Mac.

    I doubt anyone cares <shrug>.

    I don't 'care' - I'm simply puzzled when things aren't 'right'
    !
    There is ALWAYS a reason!

    Thanks for your thoughts.
