  • Excel 2019 Restrict Permissions

    When I try to restrict permissions on an existing or new file (File/Restrict permissions) in Excel 2019/Ventura I get the message 'You cannot set permissions or open a file with restricted permission because an error occurred'.

    Does anyone know what that error is, or how to get round it? Google's no help
    - so this could be weirdness on my iMac.

    so work may have restricted

    Ah - mine may be related to the 'discount' licence I got on ebay.
