Am seeing very slow performance from Safari now - website seems fine once loaded, but actually loading things up is taking a long time.
Have tried with or without extensions - same thing.
Startup: 1s Loading Wikipedia: 1s Faster than ever!
On the plus side, Time Machine has suddenly sprung into life again
with my Synology after failing for more than a year. No changes my
side at all beyond OS upgrade.
Cannot comment on this issue.
Safari very very! fast after Monterrey 12.6 and Safari 16 update.
Safari 16 came after OS 12.6
Updated my Intel Mac now to 12.6 & Safari 16 - all seems well :)
For me, tabs aren’t well at all. I had this problem with previous versions, and it was a threading issue.
I’ve mostly reproduced it.
- Have a folder of tabs in the tab bar,
- right click and select the “Automatically replace tabs” option.
- new windows, click on the tabs in the bar (which should now look like a button)
Result -most- of the time:
Tabs open, but loading is very slow. However, click into the body of one of those tabs and it suddenly speeds up.
Cheers,
Ian
