• Voice-only Facetime calls on a Mac Mini with no camera?

From Bruce Horrocks@21:1/5 to All on Tue Aug 9 18:04:47 2022
For the first time recently I tried to make a Facetime call on the Mac
Mini. It objects because there is no camera attached (something I'm sure
Apple were aware of when it left the factory!) and says it will go via
    the phone.

That's tolerable, but a bit naff, however video needs to be on to
screenshare a document and this then only appears on the phone screen.
This is useless because the image is too small to make out anything, let
    alone detail.

Is there a solution? Do I have to go and buy a PoS webcam from eBay that
I will never use just to screenshare?

    No. Use an Apple iPad.
