Any new features worth the upgrade?
UTM or Parallels or both?
As you can read from the release notes, UTM seem to be preparing the ground
for Ventura with things like x86 emulation support via Rosetta. Some QEMU related updates. Until I use the new release in depth it’s difficult to assess the significance of the remaining list of updates. Yes I know that sounds like a cop out!
With Parallels I guess the main new features are support for the more
recent ‘silicon’ chips, displays and faster Windows 11 plus games support. Like UTM it will offer better x86 emulation with Ventura. I was thinking of
not renewing my sub especially as it’s increasing but maybe I’ll still go for it just one more time.
