Hi:
The brightness on my iMac Pro keeps changing. Not by much, and it never becomes too dark or too bright, but the change is noticeable enough to be distracting.
It's never done this before. Sure, it's changed the brightness gradually through the day as evening draws on, but these sudden changes are quite new.
Any got any thoughts?

I have seen that disabled but still doing it, so worth ticking and
unticking the box.
Fairly sure only on beta OS releases, but it's a bit of an endemic issue
with settings. I got quite snippy about it in my last bug report of one
of those - one of easily a dozen I've made on the topic.

A spider or ant in front of the sensor?

I've had similar brightness behaviour with my M1 MBP, so I've now unticked, ticked and unticked the automatic brightness option and let's see what happens.

Yes, that seems to have worked for me :)

Irritating, isn't it? Glad it helped!
