    Of course, it's always worth checking them over first.

    I guess the sensible thing to do is make sure you have a TM or whatever
    backup with that folder in it before deleting it.

    Well I usually archive aka compress them to a zip file then delete the original file, just in case
    it is needed for something I don't know about then after about a week or so I deled the zip files too.
