Having nothing better to do (how sad!) I installed OpenDoc 1.2.1 and
CyberDog 2 on my Mac OS 9 emulator (SheepShaver). Although I was able
to post a test message the posting date showed the year as 0125. I'm wondering if this is some kind of Millenium related bug in OpenDoc
and/or CyberDog.

It might not be relevant to your problem but there was a patch for
Claris Emailer in the early 2000s, which re-set the date range. I must
have a copy somewhere, but can't immediately find it.

Classic MacOS had an epoch starting in 1900, IIRC. 1900 + 125 = 2025.
Clearly before 2000, you could just print the date without bothering
with the epoch, and get away with it.
