Randy Singer has just updated his list of free macOS software. I'm familiar
and have used quite a few of the items listed but several are new to me!

    Alan,

Someting I do not understand. Maybe you will not either, but here goes.

Usenapp seems to be unable to mark your postings in this thread as Read, either individually or in the whole thread. What's more, follow up postings seem to be the same. And postings in the thread cannot be marked as Unread.

The only thing that can mark them as Read is to mark the whole of ucsm as read. That does it. Permanently

Your posting in "Safari mumble mumble" is perfectly normal.

I cannot think of anything that could cause this. Can you? Does anyone else see this, or is it just me?

I wonder if it's something to do with my cocked-up attempt to change the title which I originally and erroneously called "test"? My original post used the slrn client but I don't see why that would have any relevance. Maybe André would have a more knowledgeable view?

Must be just me, then. I have the same build. I’ve an M4 iMac, latest Sequoia.

I have referred it to Usenapp support but I doubt they will find anything.

Unless it crops up again, I’ll leave well alone.

    One of those curious oddities..

No oddness on NewsTap, by the way. Perfectly normal.

Same here when I switched back to Usenapp and no issues with other Usenet clients. One of life's little mysteries, I guess ;-)

    Well done you! 🙂

FYI, I've enjoyed watching the intense weather systems we have had
passing through the UK in the last week or so.

Have you ever studied matters here? https://www.netweather.tv/live- weather/radar

With luck, we may escape the system just to the south of us right now!

It's pretty calm here right now!

    https://www.ecstream.co.uk/clients/feeds/ssl/codegenssl.php?feed=exmcam&version=compatible&timeout=30

A big change from last week!

Not so enjoyable being hit by them! Almost everyone I know has been
