Well whatever it is, according to Tips -> Mac User Guide ....

Supported languages: Apple Intelligence is available in English (US) in most regions around the world. In December, Apple Intelligence will add support
for English (Australia), English (Canada), English (Ireland), English (New Zealand), English (South Africa) and English (UK). Over the course of the
next year, Apple Intelligence will expand to more languages, like Chinese, English (India), English (Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese and others.

Well, it's now December but I'm not holding my breath. macOS 15.2, iOS 18.2
et al will be available soon, so maybe then. I can't wait - not :)

Neither. It's just moot as UKlanders already *have* intelligence.

Adendum: I recently upgraded my MBP laptop to 15.1.1 from 14.7 (I
think) and have had absolutely zero issues since doing so. I haven't
noticed anything "magical" nor "innovative" about the OS, yet, but
    it's early days.

The download and upgrade ran itself while I popped out for milk. It
even rebooted and opened up all the previous windows (not "Windows"
with a big "W" as I don't have that on my Mac) and restarted Prime95
    for me.

As a process, it's been just about the easiest upgrade I have ever
    done.

All of my personalisation and settings and stuff were copied over, so
the little box even looks like she always has, which is cool.

I'm thinking of doing it to the Mini I was given but she's on 14.3 so
I'm considering giving her 14.7 then 15. Is that a neat idea or a
    waste of effort?

Thanks for all the help in years past and a Merry Christmas and Happy
    New Year wish to all.

This window tiling stuff in Sequoia - can it be disabled? One day a week or so I have to use a Win-11 machine, and its tendency to tile all the windows on
the screen if you let one of them get near the top edge of the screen is only one defect that makes me want to shoot it, but its perhaps the most

Since reading the above I've been experimenting with tiling.

At least here, the window tiles if you drag the pointer *past the edge* of the screen. If the pointer stays within the screen area, no tiling. Unless you
know this - and it isn't explained in help, as far as I can see - it all seems a bit random.

This may explain why some see, and are irritated by, it and others don't and wonder why it doesn't work (I was one).

    YMMV, of course.

This window tiling stuff in Sequoia - can it be disabled? One day a week or so
I have to use a Win-11 machine, and its tendency to tile all the windows on
the screen if you let one of them get near the top edge of the screen is only
one defect that makes me want to shoot it, but its perhaps the most
    irritating.

Since reading the above I've been experimenting with tiling.

At least here, the window tiles if you drag the pointer *past the edge* of the
screen. If the pointer stays within the screen area, no tiling. Unless you >>>> know this - and it isn't explained in help, as far as I can see - it all seems
    a bit random.

That's about Stage Manager, not Tiling. Try Tips.app/ Tile app windows.

    My apologies.

I cannot get Sequoia on my 2017 iMac! (as well you know!)

    Try here:-

    That may help!

That is what you get in Tips.

My observation is there, but easily missed. “The window snaps into position when the pointer reaches the edge of the screen.” Note that it is the pointer, not the edge of the window.

I don't know whether you are using Ventura, but Tips is there. Look in Applications. Certainly that is where it is located in Sequoia.

Going direct from Ventura to Sequoisa has been something of a culture shock!

Obviously Tips is only for your current MacOS. As well as useful extras, it gives direct access to the relevant Mac User Guide.

I don't know when window tiling was first introduced, but after Ventura so you won't have encountered it.

I *AM* using macOS Ventura 13.7.2

There is no sign of "Tips" in my applications. :-(

Going direct from Ventura to Sequoia has been something of a culture shock!

I have no doubt about that! I am impressed that you have coped with the
    change.

Obviously Tips is only for your current MacOS. As well as useful extras, it gives direct access to the relevant Mac User Guide.

Perhaps you can check with your fellow posters here that it is something
    *NEW!

I don't know when window tiling was first introduced, but after Ventura so you
    won't have encountered it.

An adventure I have to come, one day!

In case of a hard drive failure (inevitable!) I now have macOS
Ventura loaded onto an external 1TB SSD. I can elect to start my iMac
from either the internal or external hard drive .... and it works perfectly.
