Just noticed this and not sure how long this has been the case, but the play/pause and skip function keys on my MBP don't work in Music any more.
All the other functions (e.g. volume, spotlight) work just fine. It
isn't a hardware issue as I get a "bip" when I try F7,F8,F9 so it seems
that Apple Music isn't recognising the commands.
Anyone else seeing this? I recently updated to macOS Sonoma 14.7.1

Yes same here :-( Currently running 15.2b3 on my M1 Mac.
Those keys work here if Music is in focus, but if YouTube in Safari is playing those keys act on Safari instead. I expect it's the same with
other audio apps. MBP M1X, MacOS 15.1.1
