That was my thought too. But I understand David that the other possibility to
store everything in iCloud and always access there feels a bit awkward. I do
not do that either.
My internet provider has a cloud product that allows real syncing of local >>> folders. Perhaps David could do some research into a similar product by a >>> trusted provider. For me Dropbox is not one of them. They had too many
incidents already.

Call me slow, but I don't grasp the problem here? Put your folder that
needs syncing in the iCloud folder hierarchy. Job done?
