A bit 'meh!' tbh.
AI - it was inevitable that Apple would be forced to jump onto the
world's largest bandwagon, but the examples shown? Meh.
You can improve your writing in any app that allows writing. That's
lovely but what about people who can write already? And what if you
*want* a style that's not 'Apple norm'?
And you can create custom emojis on the fly. [insert whoop emoji here]
Of the useful bits: the ability to do remote support for Mac and
iDevices including taking over the screen. A bit of a two-edged sword
because your dear, but IT inept, parents can now demand support at all
hours!
And, on Mac, the ability to drag a window to the side of the screen and
have it auto arrange would help me a lot. Stage Manager doesn't really
work for me because it wants me to use one app at a time, or I have to pre-define set combinations. In reality I often have an editor showing
some text that I've snipped, or a web page with some instructions
showing, and then a second app, potentially different each time, in
which I'm working so I want them arranged side by side. Finally MacOS is catching-up with Windows, dare I say it.
PS: I skipped the bit about the watch improvements - it was all too
energetic and my heart couldn't take it. :-)
PPS: Did I mention that you can improve your writing? No, really, it is
really that important that you'd want to do it. Really it is.
