When the keyboard is set to British or US (and probably others) there is
a handy feature whereby pressing and holding a letter that can be
accented in other languages shows a popup menu giving the alternate choices.
For example, pressing and holding 'L' gives me 3 alternate forms of 'L' starting with the Polish 'Ł'.
When the keyboard is set to German (to give a QWERTZ layout) this
feature is no longer available. Does anyone know how to enable it so
that German users can type the occasional Polish word without having to
resort to cutting and pasting or using the "show emoji and symbols"
thingy from the Menu bar?
