For those that remember him from here, Peter Ceresole died recently. I have no other information than that, but I'm sure there will be some here who hadn't heard.

I have such lovely memories of him being 'dad' at the get together dinners.

That is sad news, many years ago I worked with him at the BBC, he was a director on the Money programme. Later on I worked with him as a
freelance on a documentary about the trade union movement including
covering the Tolpuddle martyr commemorations down in Dorset.

I never made it to a dinner either and have lurked for a long while. I did enjoy the photos that sometimes were posted, Peter looked so happy to be
there and indulge the rest of the group and was a lovely communicator on here and at those dinners I trust.

He must have been 84.

He was such a good Uncle Peter, wasn't he? I exchanged some email with him in 2020, that was the last time we were in touch. He was cheerful and interested in things, as he always was. Good memories, of meeting him at MacExpos and other events in London, and he came to Cardiff a couple of times too.

I went to visit him at his house in 2017, I'm glad I got to do that - I am pretty sure that was the last time I saw him.

I have his home address - as it was in 2020 - so I will write to his family.

Thank you for letting the group know. I mostly knew him through the posts
here, but did manage to meet him at the dinner I attended some time ago. Fantastic person to speak with and interact with.
