Bullshit, Dave!
How often do I have to tell you that Mac-users do not need "snake oil"?

Exactly. The idiot keeps on finding new ways to show just how stupid he is.

Say what you will, but I don't think it's *entirely* pointless, to
think about antimalware for a Mac. Personally, I would trust the OS
without it, but it's not as if it's really *quite* as secure as Linux.
I mean, with Windows, you don't even have a choice, if you don't
install antimalware software, the OS has its own, but that's because
it's Windows, it's crazy to run it unprotected, but one can still make
a conscious choice, with another OS, to run antimalware software.

Nope, it isn't. There is malware for macOS. I personally wouldn't
find it necessary, to have the kind of defense that Windows requires,
with macOS, but that doesn't mean another person will feel the same.

linux isn't as secure as you might think.
in a recent report from elastic security labs, linux had the most
malware (~54%), almost ten times as much as mac os (6%), and narrowing
it to recent data, linux had 47% with mac os at 1%.

Try to find out what malware is, how it works and which vectors are
crtical for an "infection". Security of computer systems has nothing to
do with "feelings".

you claimed that linux is safe. that link says the opposite.
it also says that mac malware is negligible, which means there is no
need to routinely use mac antimalware utilities, which as i stated
elsewhere, incurs its own risks.

Yet many people do...
with no issue and higher confidence.
