    Yes of course because you are using filters/kill files as I do. However
    when I use slrn for instance it tells me how many posts have been killed although I cannot actually see them. It’s only when users respond to these trolls that one becomes aware of the perpetrators.

    I too have good kill-files but for a variety of reasons it’s not always possible to avoid seeing follow-ups to these unwanted messages that the
    trolls keep posting.
