• Disk Image Creation Problem

From John Hill@21:1/5 to All on Sat Feb 4 22:06:42 2023
I have a folder which Disk Utility cannot make into a .dmg file. It reports "Operation failed with status 13: Permission denied'.

What does this signify, and how should I go about fixing it?

It's a pretty busy folder and if it's a particular rogue file or folder within it, it's going to take some tike to find it. But it would help to know what
    I'm looking for.

    John.

No, and never will be. He has (been) retired on medical grounds. But he;s getting more himself physically, gradually.

Thank you for explaining. I do wish him well.

Mentally he's fine, I'm glad to say. At the moment he's constructing a miniature HPC system out of Raspberry Pi modules - he used to work on these for real, troubleshooting.

That's really good to hear! 🙂

    I've also read here:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-performance_computing

I've found it quite hard to 'keep up' - the computer I helped maintain
way back had thermionic valves! There's little on-line about the MRS3
system fitted in the old-style Daring Class destroyers.
