It's a long time since I've built a machine so I'm a bit out of touch on component suppliers. I've certainly used Novatech in the past, seeming to remember good things about them and whilst they still sell components they seem to be pushing machine builds for corporates and gamers. I have used
Scan but didn't really like them and avoided ebuyer as I didn't like their dynamic pricing model.
I've used all of those. Ebuyer have certainly practised abstracting the
urine in the past, but don't seem too bad these days -- and they seem to
have a bigger range than many other suppliers. Scan are probably my second-most-used supplier above Novatech.
I detest Amazon with a passion and wouldn't consider sending any money
their way for anything ... but a lot of folk around here seem to use them.
Any suppliers that you would keep going back to?
I've found Kustom PCs to be good for parts I can't source anywhere else, especially odd internal cables and case parts.
QuietPC do more than the low-noise systems for which they are
well-known, worth a look.
