One of my mailboxes is being inundated with Mail Delivery Failed messages.(over 200 overnight).
I've made a filter in Thunderbird to delete them on delivery but is
there a way to stop them before delivery? My ISP (A&A) sets a limit for messages delivered to my domain and that limit is fast approaching.
I think A&A only limit outgoing EMail, not incoming, but if in doubt
talk to support. They may also be able to filter the bounce messages so
they don't get to your inbox.
Do you have SPF and/or DKIM enabled on your EMail account? If not it
might be a good idea to enable them with a policy to just discard any
EMail appearing to be from you that comes from the wrong server. That
should ensure that you don't get bounce messages from any spammers who
might be using your address (unless they're also using A&A, of course,
in which case they'll be kicked off pretty quickly!)
