    Does anybody know why people who answer questions on MSFT forums jump up
    and down begging you to "upvote" them or mark their answer as correct? Especially as they seem to be experts on missing the point.

    I think its called "self-aggrandisement" - and it seems to have spread
    all over youtube as well
