President Donald Trump touched down in Scotland on Friday and
issued a dire warning to European leaders, who he said had better
get a handle on illegal immigration or they won't have a country.
During an impromptu press gathering on the tarmac at Glasgow
Prestwick Airport, Trump spoke to reporters about his trip to
Scotland and the leaders whom he would be meeting with, then took
on a few questions, one about his crackdown on illegal immigration.

"On immigration, you better get your act together or you're not
going to have Europe anymore. You got to get your act together,
"Trump said. "And as you know last month, we had nobody entering
our country. Nobody. Shut it down."
"And we took out a lot of bad people that got there with [former
President Joe] Biden. And what he allowed to happen. But you're
allowing it to happen to your countries," he added. "And you've got
to stop this horrible invasion that's happening to Europe. Many
countries in Europe. . This immigration is killing Europe.
Trump didn't name the places where he felt immigration was under
control or the leaders who he said haven't gotten enough credit for
preventing the invasion of their countries.
The president also discussed his plans to meet with the President
of the EU Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen.
"I'll be meeting with the EU on Sunday, and we'll be working on a
deal," Trump told the press. "We'll see if we make a deal. Ursula
@vonderleyen will be here highly respected woman so we look
forward to that."
During President Trump's trip to Scotland, he's expected to meet
with the UK prime minister Keir Starmer, telling the press, "We're
going to do some great things."
The BBC reported that the two leaders are expected to discuss the
details of the recent trade agreement between the U.S. and the U.K.
While in the country, he is also going to his Turnberry golf
resort. Videos have since surfaced online of his arrival and of
spectators waving at the presidential motorcade as it passed by.
He also plans to take time out during the trip to be present at the
opening of the newest Trump golf course, which is located in
Aberdeenshire, the BBC reported.
Donald Trump flies into Scotland later to visit two golf resorts,
which he owns, in the country where his mother was born.
He will travel to Turnberry in South Ayrshire, a world-class venue
he bought in 2014, and to Menie in Aberdeenshire to open a new 18-
hole course.
