Drugs are actually A SOCIAL IMPEDIMENT, and A MENTAL IMPEDIMENT.
There's a marginal benefit, such as there is to riding roller coasters.
But who rides roller coasters more than four times per year? And who thought roller coasters, or a movie, were very social?!
Additionally, drugs use up all your good feelings at once, or numb your
bad feelings!
Classes of drugs in my mind:
1.Alcohol - Beer, Wine, Liquor.
2.Marijuana - like Beer.
3.Cocaine - like Liquor; Liquor is a dangerous drug.
Alcohol is the dangerous drug. No matter the concentration.
By action it belongs with opiates. Limiting your use is the
best way to avoid addiction.
You do not mention Tobacco and nicotine which are dangerous
and highly poisonous drugs, very addictive by any route. A
water extract of tobacco can be used as an insecticide and
a single cigarette probably contains enough for serious harm
to a human being.
Cocaine depending on form and dosage is not addictive but
again addictive personalities get addicted.
Coco tea which contains along with cocaine many other
substances found in the coco leaf.
Marijuana which contains THC and other substances can
be quite habituating but it does not mess up your breathing
reflexes as do alcohol and opiates along with a lot of the
modern tranquilizers and barbituates.
A note in Europe a few years like 20 or so back it
was common in Europe to mix hashish a derivative of marijuana
with tobacco. Then the addiction was ascribed to hashish when
it was related to tobacco.
I used to write to people a lot about that.
Aspirin is dangerous to many people and if overdoses are
taken can lead to gastric bleeding and to sensitivity to future
use of salicyclates of which it is one.
Then there is Caffeine which I cannot use in useful
amounts but which is a drug with specific effects and which in
combination with tobacco can cause serious problems.
Chocolate contains very little caffeine, some theobromine
and lots of calories. I use it a fair amount.
For spirituality or meditation, non-addictive:
4.Psychedelics - Mushrooms, Ayuhauasca, DMT, Salvia, Acid.
Study Meditation before you use such. Do some
reading in scriptures of your religion. You fail
to mention Lysergic Acid Di-ethyamide using acid which
is not a proper name. You leave out Mescaline which
can be derived from San Pedro cactus by water extraction.
Don't use peyote which is endangered due to hippie harvesting
in the deserts of the Southwest and in Mexico.
On the line or over:
5.Ecstasy - Molly.
Well pure Ecstasy is not too bad but all street drugs
are not subject to true and reliable quality control.
6.Amphetamines - Speed, Crystal Meth.
Dextroamphetamine su;phate is not particular addiction but
if you have an addictive personality you will probably get addicted.
Smoking or shooting up with this stuff is self-destructive.

7.PCP - Angel Dust.
8.Opiates - Codeine, Morphine, Oxycontin, Heroin, Fentanyl.
Not so bad if you have pain but only when you have
serious physical pain.
9.Benzodiazapines/Barbituates - Valium - not a party drug.

10.Huffing - 20 paints and solvents.
Deprive your brain cells of oxygen and can cause
long term changes.
You don't want to inhale nor inject potent drugs. Hence Crack is way
worse than Cocaine, and belongs in the batshit crazy category.
Crack, Crystal Meth, Fentanyl, Heroin, are products of the Drug War. Prohibition moves potency. Alcohol prohibition moved liqour, not beer
and wine. These drugs wouldn't be for sale as more than insane
novelties, like Everclear, if Cocaine, and Speed, and Morphine were available. No one drinks Everclear, nor 151 Rum.
I used to drink 151 but I stopped when my throat was
sore. That is why I stopped smoking cannabis or its derivatives.
People know nothing about drugs. About weapons. About sex. About
living in a vehicle or tent. AND JUDGE. AND HIRE MURDERERS, TO MURDER
