Ozzy was worth a LOT - with a big boost from his
final performance just a few weeks ago.
Poor old Oz ... SO afflicted at the end. Oh well,
he liked ATVs and Bad Docs ....
Nevertheless - put him in front of an audience and
he Comes Alive ... as seen just a few weeks ago
at the final Black Sabbath concert.
Oz was a an extremely funny guy - almost the
opposite of his public persona. Most everyone
liked him. Also far more intellectual than
you'd expect.
It's unclear ... back around 1969 the newly-
formed Black Sabbath was walking the streets
and saw a movie house advertising 'horror'
films - and SOMEBODY asked why people would
pay good money to be afraid. Shortly after,
heavy/black-metal came into existence - inspiring
endless copycats. Sabbath were not top musicians,
but they did have a vision, found a niche, wrote
so many basic riffs we still hear .........
Hey, maybe The Devil WAS at the first performance
of the "Black Sabbath" theme song - the demonic
tri-tone riff :-)

tab, facing west. Dunno WHY I can remember that.
