  • LA Sheriff Dept Blows Itself Up - 3 Officers Dead At Training Facility

    Live News :

    There was a powerful explosion just before 9am local
    time at a Sheriffs training facility. Three officers
    were killed instantly.

    One of the things they do there is training for
    explosive device detection/disposal. As such it
    appears a box of real explosives detonated. Why
    there would be that much stuff in one spot has
    not yet been explained.

    Air footage shows a hole in a weather tent where
    three large vans were, covered bodies and obvious
    damage to at least one nearby police SUV. Of note
    one of those large vans was pulled somewhat forward
    with a cargo ramp extended ... so likely something
    was being loaded or unloaded at the time.

    Reports are that this was not like fireworks
    lighting off but a single large blast.

    Followup :

    The word is that it was some "unexploded ordinance"
    that had been collected the previous day. This term
    implies a military device. Could be new, could be
    junk from WW2 somebody found in their garden. Some
    of the old war ordinance used unstable chemicals
    and in theory just dropping the thing could make
    it explode.

    The search is on for any deputy
    involved who was black or female or
    asian or hispanic so this can be
    blamed on a "DEI agenda"
