• Another Church Attack - Kentucky

Two churchgoers have been killed and a state trooper was
seriously wounded in two shootouts during a gunman's
    rampage.

Officers said they were first dispatched to a shooting
involving a Kentucky State Police Trooper at around
11.40 am Sunday on Terminal Drive, outside of Blue
    Grass Airport in Lexington.

The trooper had apparently pulled over the gunman due
to a license plate reader on a nearby traffic camera,
when the suspect shot him, authorities explained at
    an afternoon press conference.

The shooter then carjacked a vehicle and fled 16 miles
to Richmond Road Baptist Church, where he was cornered
    by pursuing cops, police said.

Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers said the gunman -
who may have a connection to the congregation- fired
on worshippers inside the Baptist church.

Beverly Gumm, 72, and Christina Combs, 32, were shot dead
as they tried to escape, and two men were wounded and
rushed to the hospital, one in critical condition.

Meanwhile, three Lexington Police Department officers
opened fire on the gunman and killed him

    . . .

And they wondered why churches might want to
    have armed security/members ....

This seems to be an escalating thing. Last
instance was just a couple of weeks ago -
the attacker disabled because a late church
member saw what was going down and literally
ran over the perp with his truck. THAT
incident apparently stemmed from the perp
obliquely blaming the church for someones
    death.

    Today's "reason" ... stay tuned.

Tommorow's "reason", DO expect ANTIFA motives
involved here and there. To the extreme left
"christians" are The Enemy - Just Because.
FBI/CIA persecution didn't go far enough so
far as the ultra-left was concerned.

As we are reliably informed, "due process" requires a court
hearing in front of a judge.

"Due process" means whatever process the law specifies for a given >>>>>> situation. That may or may not always require a judge.

Being on the NICBCS automatically denies one a gun and that is a
'due process' as prescribed by law.

You don't know what you're talking about. You have to be
    ADJUDICATED
as "a mental defective" or "committed to any mental institution".

    *sigh*

Learn to read. That adjudication is how you end up on the list IN
    THE FIRST PLACE.

Not under the proposed regulation that was disapproved of by
    Congress,
Governor Shill. 'Due process' in these cases means a written notice,
an adversarial hearing before a judge, and consul for the defendant
before a determination can be made.

Cowboy: "You can't hang me, I haven't had
    my due process"

Sheriff: "OK, we will give you due process.
    Then we'll hang you"

    LOL!

A line from the "Judge Roy Bean" movie, IIRC
