. . .
Joe Rogan has come to a mind-bending conclusion about life, fearing
that humanity has misinterpreted what reality is and we're actually
in the process of creating God.
While interviewing computer scientist Roman Yampolskiy on the Joe
Rogan Experience podcast, the men debated the possibility that
reality is a giant simulation and humans are building a God-like
supercomputer using artificial intelligence (AI).
According to Rogan's theory, humanity has misinterpreted
ancient prophecies regarding the second coming of Jesus Christ
and Judgement Day, saying the creation of this AI super
intelligence is the final chapter before our reality resets.
. . .
'AI' will not be a 'god' tomorrow.
But eventually it WILL so vastly exceed our
capabilities and reach that it WILL be a
kind of god. Worship it or not, it'll BE
there and get smarter and smarter by the
minute.
LLMs are only part of the equation ... adding
in improved neural networks and the 'Centaur'
psychological emulation models into one 'brain'
are how it'll Get There. The human brain seems
to be a sort of hybrid system - different bits
working in different ways at different levels to
different ends - kind of connected and averaged
together into a rude sort of "self".
MY guess as an old IT person ... 25 years.
Umpteen BILLIONS of global dollars are being
spent on this. They WANT to replace all humans
in almost everything - yet have NO plan for
dealing with the obsoleted humans. Guess
what ... xyz2.com is NOT gonna support you
worth a damn. Slums, abuse, hunger, Soylent
Green .......
Oh, the joke is eventually on xyz2.com - broke
people can't buy their stuff ... it all just
implodes .........
if you're going to cut and plagiarize ,
you could at least admit it

Having been brought up a strict protestant, as I aged I began to
realize that while the Bible might make some decent points, it's
all from the perspective of the knowledge of the people at the time
it was written.
So for example, Ezekiel's wheel of fire. Sounds like a spaceship to me. >Drawings all over the world of "spacemen" like creatures.
Skeletons of giants like in the book of enoch, banned from the Bible.
And so forth.
As an engineer, I have over the years, come to the conclusion that we
as a planet did not just appear out of nowhere. Things are just way to >ordered. My feeling is that there is a supreme being, a "God" if you will
who created and continues to control the earth.
In conclusion, there has to be more than just living and dying.
Just my opinion.
I guess, someday I and everyone else will find out for certain.

Anyone who doesn't believe in Gods should be killed. That's what they did in the bible times. Time for another Trump decree.
