Personally i feel we are going to see a rise in lone wolf attacks, like
school shooters, sporting events etc. But not at the cost of spectacular coordinated
attacks like 9-11. Those will come as well.
And much of it will come from within by using useful idiot college students and so forth.
This stuff is being planned, organized and funded at the highest levels of
our adversaries and their proxies.

Iranian/arabic propagandists have come to understand
how westerners think far better that we understand
how they think. The large success in dragging in useful
idiots to back Hamas and similar terrorists proves that
very clearly.

Even a 20kt explosion in Manhattan - esp if augmented
by bags of strontium and/or cobalt - would be a very
serious blow to global business. Not insurmountable,
but a large disruption nevertheless during which other
kinds of evils could be done.

By all reports, they probably CAN do this. Their
uranium is pure enough and they have enough - and
seem to have hidden it, likely moving targets. If
you can smuggle in a ton of Mexican weed you can
smuggle in a nuke. All I've seen says, with minimal
shielding, it likely will not be detected.

Meanwhile, there may be a few lone-wolf style
attacks, but really Iran would prefer things to
SEEM ok, safe, boring, because the security level
will soon dip.
