    https://www.newsnationnow.com/us-news/recalls/kraft-heinz-recalls-367k-pounds-turkey-bacon/

Kraft Heinz Foods Company is recalling over 367,000 pounds
of turkey bacon due to potential listeria concerns, according
to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and
    Inspection Service.

    . . .

    WTF is "turkey bacon" ???

In any case, if you HAVE some, DON'T EAT IT !

I mostly buy Perdue meats. Do have a pack of
Oscar beef hot-dogs in the freezer however.

Alas, contamination problems seem to be sharply
escalating the past five years. Not entirely sure
why. Joe didn't help things a bit, and likely Trump
will cut back on inspectors. Not good either way.

Oh, one possible angle ... deliberate contamination
to 'undermine confidence' - ie 'terrorism'. Any enemy
force could engineer this kinda easily.

Meanwhile ... kinda over-cook stuff a bit, enough
    to toast any bacteria.

When your weird dietary laws say you can't eat the most delicious food
known to man you try to fake it with something you can eat.

    Ummmmm ... don't think it's "laws" here ... just
    kind of 'delusions'.

My GUESS is that 'turkey bacon' is thin-cut turkey
strips with some bacon grease added for flavor.

May as well eat real bacon, isn't THAT bad unless
you basically try to live on it.

Now plain turkey is one of my favorite things ...
a little more taste than chicken, low-cal, low-
    cholesterol, high-protein.

There are many delusions involving tribal gods. Dietary laws are
    relatively harmless.

Depends what part of the world :-)
