President Donald Trump said on Friday he would bomb Iran
again “without question” if intelligence suggests Iran continues
to have the ability to enrich uranium.

The president was asked by a reporter at a Friday press briefing
if he would bomb Iran again if the country can enrich uranium
“to a level that concerns you,” even as he and his administration
have maintained that an offensive strike by the U.S. last
weekend obliterated three Iranian nuclear sites.

    . . .

It ain't over until it's over. The long-stated goal
is that Iran must not have nuclear weapons, but
unlike other presidents he's DOING stuff to ensure that.

I still suspect Iran has enough good uranium to build
a few bombs ... if it hasn't already ... but this is
where not only sat surveillance/analysis but on-the-ground
SPIES are especially important. Israel managed to deeply
infiltrate the Iranian mil apparatus and we should encourage
    them to keep it up.

Back during Clinton, they haven't bombed anyone and the world hasn't
    come to an end.

They did their testing deep underground and nobody knew they had a bomb
    until they did.

    Now nobody dares attack NK.

Iran was attacked because it didn't have the bomb.

There are countries in the Middle East who have the bomb who are just as hostile to Israel as Iran, Israel just wants to single them out.

One of these days Iran is going to announce it has a bomb and Israel is
going to be forced to mind its own business and quit waging "preemptive"
    war on its neighbors.

I suspect Iran has nuke stuff scattered about the country. They aren't stupid and they know full well that their main facilities are top targets.

What is more difficult to relocate is the gas centrifuges.
In fact it's almost impossible without a lot of planning and
a lot of time and since those sites were under surveillance it's
unlikely they could sneak a test tube out of the place without people
    knowing.
And of course Iran could purchase a nuke from another country, which is likely.

What the TDS folks are ignoring is that whether or not Iran's nuke aspirations have been destroyed or not, the USA demonstrated what our military is capable of
and that in effect put Russia, China, Hamas, etc on notice that we have far more
power than needed to destroy a good portion of you and that we, at least under Trump,
are not afraid to use it.

Peace through strength instead of weakness through appeasement like the last administration.

    Which administration sat down
with Taliban and cut a surrender
    deal with them?

Trump's deal with the Taliban set the stage
    for the Afghan collapse
    08/17/21

"...this was a "withdrawal" agreement between
the U.S. and the Taliban that set the terms
for the complete departure of American troops
    from Afghanistan by May 2021.

What did the United States gain in exchange for
this withdrawal, for which the Taliban had been
fighting for 20 years? Nothing but vague,
unenforceable promises that the Taliban would not
engage in hostilities against the departing U.S.
troops and would "send a clear message to al
Qaeda that it had no place" in Afghanistan. So
eager Trump was to withdraw, we did not even
hold out for a clear, firm commitment that the
Taliban would not provide aid, safe harbor or
weaponry to al Qaeda and like-minded groups.
    The agreement contained no enforcement
mechanisms and included no penalties on the
Taliban for failing to comply with its terms."

SOME people WANT Iran to have nukes - figure that will
make the evil horrible West LISTEN, empower the wonderful
    Islamists.

The usual crowd of pols who NEVER what to do anything
lest they get critique keep screaming "diplomacy !"
even though that's had zero effect with Iran for decades.

Of late, some wanted Trump accused of war crimes or
something if he attacked Iranian nuke facilities.
THEN they mysteriously insisted on 101% good results
from such attacks. Either way, Trump would be a
    failure in their rhetoric.

IMHO, Trump HELPED things. He's bought us some TIME.
No attacked foe is defeated forever unless you
physically invade - and that's kind of OUT here.
You set back their goals instead, hope other factors
do the rest of the work for you.

Iran WILL salvage what it can from the bomb sites
and WILL eventually set up new industry. So, we
have to find ways to delay/ruin such plans for long
enough so that they just give up.

    Nothing's perfect.

One must be an ignorant right-winger - which are known to be
of lower IQ - to beieve it might somehow impress Russia or
China. The B-2 planes can be counted stealthy only when in
combination with some else techniques. S-300 can catch these
planes. The way the bombing of the Iran's facilities was
implemented, those planes would've been pretty easy targets
if only Iran had a functional air defense. The fact it was
dysfunctional is due to their government's abuse of religious
rigidity that created conditions for Israelis to recruit/buy
enough sabotage agents within the country. It has nothing to
    do with American military might.
