Iran attacked a US base in Qatar, but TOLD everyone
ahead of time and fired a relatively few missiles.
Trump seemed to "get it" - the culture required
at least a symbolic counterstrike and apparently
they fired the same number of missiles as the US
dropped on their nuke sites. Honor is preserved.
Iran and Israel SEEM to be talking a cease-fire
now ... reports are a bit fuzzy ... maybe starting
at midnight local time. Israel HAS done huge damage
to Iranian military and mil/industrial power. For
all it's bluster over the years, Iran is now
Israels' bitch and it took less than two weeks.
Iran also discovered that an air attack on Iran
just will NOT work worth a damn. They'd have to
physically land a hundred thousand soldiers in
Yemen and then push north the HARD way.
However all should beware their network of
terrorists and assassins ...
And al Quada and ISIS are still out there too ...
In any case, there now seems some hope - and
Trump did NOT over-react to the Qatar thing.
Bloomberg says an 'Iranian official' has said
that the US peace agreement will the post-war
framework.
Stock markets shot up on this news, gold fell
a bit and oil prices/futures plunged.
